Privacy Policy

What We Collect

• Account information: username, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash — we cannot read your original password).
• Profile data: avatar, country/region, and church tradition, which you provide voluntarily.
• Prayer content: prayer requests, responses, and testimonies you post. When anonymous, your name is not displayed alongside your content.
• Technical data: login session cookies and push notification subscription endpoints if you opt in.
• Third-party login: if you sign in via Google or Facebook, we only receive your email and display name from their authorization API. We do not store your social media passwords.

How We Use Your Information

• To display your prayer requests and responses on the platform for others to intercede.
• To send push notifications (e.g., "Someone prayed for you" or daily prayer reminders) based on your settings.
• To generate anonymous aggregate statistics (total prayers, churches) shown on the homepage.
• To handle account operations such as password resets and church association requests.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third-party advertisers. Your information is accessed only by authorized platform maintainers (on a need-to-know basis), when required by law, or — in the case of Google/Facebook login — subject to their respective privacy policies.

Anonymous Prayer

You may post prayer requests anonymously. When you do, other users will not see your username. However, our database still links your account to that prayer so you can manage your own prayer list.

Push Notifications

Push notifications are entirely optional. The website uses Web Push (VAPID protocol); iOS and Android apps use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). FCM tokens are used solely to deliver notifications to your device and for no other purpose. You can unsubscribe at any time through your browser or device notification settings. We will never send notifications without your prior consent.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained until you delete your account. Upon deletion, we remove your personally identifiable information within a reasonable timeframe (typically 30 days). Content that has been prayed over by others may be retained in anonymous form to preserve the integrity of prayer records.

Your Rights

• Access: view your account information on the "My Profile" page.
• Correction: update your username, avatar, and profile at any time.
• Deletion: email intoone.org@gmail.com to request account deletion — we will process it within 14 business days.
• Notification opt-out: revoke notification permission for this site in your browser settings.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are stored using a one-way cryptographic hash. Push notifications use the standard VAPID protocol. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 18 and older. It is not directed to minors under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information; if we discover any, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has registered without consent, please contact us.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the platform. Continued use of iPray.Love after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
