“My greatest wish is not for my children to gain wealth or fame in this world, but that they, like me, will discover that living for Christ is the most glorious adventure in the world.”
Samuel Dyer · Letter to family
Scripture
3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than that I have heard that my children are walking in the truth.
Reflection
Tayyol knew that worldly wealth and fame are fleeting, while only "life in Christ" has eternal value. As parents or elders, we often fall into anxiety, trying to prepare a smooth material path for our children, forgetting that the most secure inheritance is faith. This "most glorious adventure" is not reckless, but based on absolute trust in the truth. True success is not about children winning at the starting line of the world, but about them recognizing God's calling and having the courage and freedom to respond to that call.
