Daily Devotion
“Spiritual growth is not achieved through momentary excitement, but through daily prayer, the Bible, and obedience, gradually being shaped by God into a vessel usable in His hands.”
Oswald Chambers · The Supreme is Great
Scripture
1 Peter 2:2 “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.”
Reflection
1 Peter reminds believers that spiritual growth, like that of an infant, requires constant nourishment from God's Word. A healthy spiritual life is not about occasional sermons or fleeting zeal, but about a sustained thirst for God's truth. If one does not frequently draw near to God, one's spiritual life easily stagnates or even regresses. But when one humbly comes before God, loves the Bible, and is willing to learn and obey God's Word, one's life is unconsciously renewed, gradually growing and maturing, becoming more and more like Christ.
