Ephesians 1:11 In him we have been ordained an inheritance, which he predestined according to his will, as he works out everything in accordance with his own will.

Reflection

Our daily struggles are not random, chaotic events, but a wondrous arrangement by the Lord who "does all things in accordance with His own will." Ephesians 1:11 reminds us that every moment we experience is within His preordained inheritance and purpose. When we are exhausted, the greatest comfort is the realization that we are not carrying out life alone, but are upheld by God's infallible plan. Rather than serving others, we are experiencing His providence. Today, relinquish all sense of control and rest peacefully in His sovereignty.
