“It is better to walk one mile with the saints than ten miles alone. In spiritual warfare, our strength comes from prayer of unity.”
Spurgeon · David's Treasury
Scripture
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, 12 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. If one of them falls, he can help his companion up, but woe to the one who falls and has no one to help him up! ... Someone may overcome a man, but two can defend themselves against him. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.
Reflection
Registering a foundation in British Columbia is merely planting the seed, while fellow workers are the soil that allows that seed to grow. Scripture reminds us that fighting alone is not only arduous but also carries the risk of being left unsupported when we stumble. God's will is not for us to be "lone heroes," but to manifest His glory in unity. The combined strength of two people is not simply 1+1=2, but brings about a multiplied effect; and when I, my fellow workers, and God are united, we create that "three strands of unbreakable cord." This waiting and searching is not a delay, but God weaving for you a resilient bond that can withstand storms and carry your vision. Quiet your heart and be certain that He has prepared it.
