Psalm 85:10 Love and truth meet one another, righteousness and peace kiss one another.

Reflection

St. Augustine reminds us that charity, if focused solely on rules (truth), degenerates into cold administration; if focused solely on emotion (compassion), it easily falls into cheap sympathy. Psalm 85:10 presents a perfect balance: righteousness and peace are not opposites, but rather "loving one another" in Christ. Submitting an application is not merely the completion of legal procedures, but also the gestation of a mission. In the future operation of our foundation, we need to be constantly vigilant: have we maintained both financial and legal honesty, and have we conveyed that selfless love of Christ? May our service be like the cross, embracing humanity horizontally and pointing vertically towards truth.
