“I am not afraid of my own weaknesses, because Christ is strong in weakness; I am only afraid that I will reject God's work because of these weaknesses, and thus lose what Christ originally wanted to accomplish through me.”
William Carey · The Obligation of Christians to Use Means
Scripture
2 Corinthians 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
Reflection
The Lord reminded me that weakness is never the reason that hinders His work; what truly hinders me is my shrinking back, hesitation, and reluctance to respond to the call because of my weakness. I often focus on my own shortcomings, forgetting that Christ's power is made perfect precisely in weakness. The more I recognize my own limitations, the more I understand that I must rely on the Lord. On the missionary path, I do not need to rely on my own strength, but rather learn to obey and move forward, allowing the Lord to manifest His glory in my inadequacy.
