Philippians 3:7-8 But whatever I considered gain to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. Moreover, I consider everything loss, that I may gain Christ.

Reflection

Paul gave up everything in the world that was considered precious, solely to gain Christ—a complete commitment and sacrifice. C.T. Stewart's missionary dedication is a modern manifestation of this mindset. Are we also willing to set aside our own gains and comforts, and bravely go to those who have not yet heard the gospel? Sacrifice is difficult, but because of Christ, it is all worthwhile.
