Mark 4:39-40 Jesus awoke and rebuked the wind. “Peace! Calm!” the wind died down, and there was a great calm. Jesus said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

Reflection

We often ask the Lord to remove the storms before us, but we overlook the fact that He wants to teach us to trust in the midst of them. When the world around us is in turmoil, the Lord remains in control; when our hearts are stirred by fear, He remains securely present. True faith isn't about finding peace after the storms subside, but about resting in His arms amidst the chaos. The Lord doesn't want us to avoid trials, but to learn to trust Him in the midst of them.
