Hebrews 12:10 Our earthly fathers disciplined us for a little while as seemed best to them, but God disciplines us for our good, so that we may share in his holiness.

Reflection

God's work is often unexpected. We think He will make our paths smooth and our lives secure, but He often refines our hearts through difficulties, delays, and disappointments. True love is not about indulgence but about formation. His purpose isn't to give me temporary comfort, but to help me grow in faith, endurance, and holiness, to become more like Him and closer to Him. When I understand this, trials cease to be pain and become lessons in grace.
