Jeremiah 10:23 I know, O LORD, that the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

Reflection

Jeremiah 10:23 reminds us that our paths are not in our own hands. We often believe we can control the future, that planning and hard work can forge a safe path. But the truth is, even our next steps are not entirely our own. God is the true sovereign, guiding us according to His will and wisdom. What may seem like random events in life are actually orchestrated by God. Instead of anxiety, trust; instead of clinging, surrender.
