Reflection

The glory and satisfaction of this world are but fleeting shadows; only in Christ does the soul find true belonging. C.S. Lewis reminds us that if we find in ourselves a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world. As citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven, our identity lies not in worldly achievements, but in our union with Christ. May we, while awaiting His return, not be blinded by worldly vanity, but live out the value and hope of the Kingdom of Heaven.
