Reflection

Not every path in life leads to a bright future. Sometimes darkness can be disorienting, but Tozer's picture of Abraham reminds me that it was in the dark night that he resolved to trust God; he misjudged God's method, yet rightly sensed His heart. Romans 8:28 reminds me that even when things seem chaotic, God is weaving a beautiful plan. He doesn't always give me the answers I want, but he always leads me toward His perfect will. Trusting Him means obeying even when we don't understand.
