Daily Devotion
“Now you can't change your past. But you can determine your destiny by deciding for Christ. He died on the cross so that all the sins you've ever committed, all the things you've ever done wrong are forgiven. ... Come to Christ. He will give you a new strength, and a new power, and a new joy, and a new peace and a purpose for living.”
Billy Graham · Billy Graham Minute (BGEA): "Past, Present, and Future"
Scripture
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: the old has gone, the new has come!
Reflection
We are often bound by past failures, shame, or regrets, as if those shadows were the end of our destiny. But scripture reminds us that through Christ's redemption, our lives are not a repair of the old, but a fundamental "reshaping." Being a "new creation" means that God no longer defines us by our past; He values our future in His love. Today, try to let go of those self-judgments that hold you back. Since God has chosen forgiveness and renewal, you too should reconcile with yourself, carrying this new identity from heaven, and move forward with hope, for a new chapter has begun.
