Reflection

Marchant said, 'I go back not because I want to, nor even because of the need there, but because I believe it is God's will for me: I delight to do your will, O my God.' Great needs and strong desires are never the ultimate reasons; God's will is. Obedience is not a passing impulse, but surrendering our decisions to God. Today, if I find myself wavering between wanting to go or not, let me first ask: Is this what I want, or is it what God wants me to do?
